Some work i did for uni

For one of our modules last semester our class had to create a fashion magazine. This is what my editors letter looked like:

Oleg Cassini wrote "Fashion anticipates, and elegance is a state of mind...a mirror of the time in which we live, a translation of the future, and should never be static". He was right. There is no better reflection of how future generations view us than by what we wear and how we wear it. As I see it this generation of ours has yet to follow a specific fashion culture or trend that has defined us. I find it so liberating that we can wear what we want, how we want; be as controversial as Lady Gaga or as conservative as Kate Middleton and all sort of fit together, in this subtly unique melting pot of young people who can't be labelled or defined but just are what we are. We don't throw our undefinedness in society's face - it is a sign of the times that we now accept what would have been considered litigious by older generations but is now regarded as rather passe.
Instead we glory in our self-belief and awareness of ourselves, and even if we don't know who we truly are yet, we will revel in the journey of self-discovery until we do. Our tastes may vary and change faster than most people, as they say, have hot dinners. We are the fast moving consumers who demand 'MORE MORE MORE', 'FASTER FASTER FASTER' to a market who are struggling to keep up with us. We search relentlessly for the latest gadget, the newest designer goodie or the satisfaction of finding a hidden vintage treasure in the Aladdin's cave of charity shops. We EVOKE all the best bits of our past counterparts and bring them bang-up-to-date with their modern contemporaries. Oleg Cassini was right; we are the reflection of our past, our present and our future.
