“The law of love could be best understood and learned through having Cupcakes."

Hey Sweeties,I absolutely had to blog about the new Mrs Madden's wedding dress...i'm inlove. completely. entirely. head-over-heels inlove with that dress! While I understand frothy frou frou tulle is not to everyone's taste and until now it wasn't my favourite either as 'meringue' dresses sort of remind me of the barbie-esque horridious gown that was Katie Price/Andre/Reid/Jordan whatever's...very very tacky in my opinion but then again each to their own especially on your wedding day. But in the case of Nicole Richie she looked every inch the elegant fashionista that she had evolved into since her stint on the Simple Life. However, there is two more of her gowns yet to surface as she wore 3 different dresses throughout the day; one for the ceremony, one for dinner and one for the after party and all three were Marchesa! Jealous...me?...maybe...sorta...definatley! Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Madden!

I like it when Cupcakes is so good that you start to hallucinate.

I hear those sleigh bells jingling, a ring ting tingling too, come on its lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you..."Getting in the swing of the party season amidst all the christmas music, sweet mince pies and with the XFactor at its end our saturday nights are now freed up to enjoy all the lovely seasonal inspired parties we've been invited to...so you know what that means...lots of incredible sparkly WOW slow-motion-walk-as-you-dazzle-everyone-in-the-room dresses!!!! excited? “Motivation is like Cupcakes for the brain. You cannot get enough in one sitting. It needs continual and regular top ups."

Hello my Sweeties,Long time no new posts...orders for cuppycakes have been flying in of late as well as all the coursework which has left me precious little time to blog...I'm sorry, forgive me?With the weather experiencing slight schizophrenia a few of us seem to be passing by the style department in favour of bundling up all warm and snug in cosy sweatshirts and tons of layers. But I have the winter style solution to looking chic without feeling the cold. All you need is love. But a little Cupcake now and then doesn't hurt.

So I just loved the white chocolate 'Love' we did for one of our customers (who was treating her husband to 18 of our delicious cupcakes to celebrate their 10month anniversary, so sweet!) that I just had to blog about it! She chose 3 yummy flavours (GlamPie-vanilla and white chocolate sponge with a vanilla buttercream, Aztec- chocolate and caramel sponge with caramel buttercream topped with puff candy and drizzled with caramel sauce, Deville- chocolatey chocolate sponge with a peppermint buttercream)

 The GlamPie

 The Aztec

Just a selection of some of the cuppycakes for that order.

The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power. For now I’m eating Cupcakes.

Hi,

just another wee post about some of our larger cupcake orders. Curves Fraserburgh ordered 100 cupcakes from us a couple of weeks ago for their Breast Cancer Awareness Day. We made a mixture of Vanilla, Chocolate, Almond and Lemon cuppycakes with either Strawberry or Vanilla flavoured buttercream. The ladies loved them and we even got a mention in the Fraserburgh Herald! So if you require exceptionally yummy treats for events then please email cocosweetcupcakes@yahoo.co.uk to place an order.

Here's a picture or two

"Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me Cupcakes."

Hey my lovelies,

I would just like to remind you that 2 weeks from today H&M's collaborative collection with Lanvin will be hitting stores, although sadly i doubt the Aberdeen store will be carrying any of the divine pieces sniff sniff...but  a taste of what we will be drooling and turning 10 shades of jealousy over

"Until you make peace with who you are, you'll never be happy with the Cupcakes you have."

Finally with coursework out of the way (kind of) for a while, thought it would be good to showcase some of my favourite cupcakes we've done so far. Also, just to let you know, we're developing a few more things at the moment so watch this space for some more great tasting treats!

Its never a trick but always a treat at CocoSweet

Hey guys,

thought I would upload some of the cupcake orders we did for various halloween parties this year. It was so much fun and we got to go all out in colours and decorations which I enjoyed LOTS!! Because it was halloween there were so many themed food programmes on TV so we got lots of inspiration to take the wee cakes up to the next level. Some of the cupcakes we did were filled with a sweet jelly and others caramel so when they were bit into that were all gooey and hallowweeney! Remember and take a look at our facebook page so you can see lots more of our yummy treats.

Keep it sweet!x

An Armani Experience

^ Me, Frederic and Louise

Hey guys,
Sorry it’s been a while since my last post.
A few weeks ago me and my sister spotted in Marie Claire an Armani make up class coming to Edinburgh, so we booked in of course. So last Thursday we went  to Edinburgh for a girls day out with my mum. When we arrived at the Armani counter at Jenners we were greeted by the lovely Frederic Letailleur, Head Face Designer & National Trainer for Giorgio Armani Cosmetics. Fred was funny and enchanting while he talked us through some of the new products offered by Armani and regaled to us stories of Kate Moss 'borrowing' one of his Eyes To Kill mascaras and working with Angelina Jolie, Christian Slater and many more. He is also a special effects makeup artist and he showed us some of his work from recent films, they were incredible. So after we discussed what we wanted to learn; I wanted to try the new Armani d'rouge 400 red lipstick and Louise desired colourful eye makeup. Fred then set to work showing us how to apply each product for the best possible results. I learned lots of new tricks and tested some amazing products that felt like satin on my skin. Armani cosmetics really reflect the time, effort and dedication by its creators to develop products that actually do what they say they do and more.
I'm happy to say that I'm now an Armani convert!

An introduction...

So I wanted to start off this blog with something funny, like a joke...here goes...

Two cupcakes are sitting in an oven. One turns to the other and says "Man, it's getting HOT in here." The other one turns to the other and says "Ahhhhh! A talking cupcake!"

Did you like that?....ha i thought it was cute, slightly geeky but then again geek is chic non?

Anyhoo...lets talk serious for a second here. I love many things in this world but right now fashion and sweet things are high up on my list. Fashion, in my humble opinion, is a pretty massive industry that everyone buys into whether clothes is an indulgence or a necessity to live. Speaking of necessities to live, food is probably one of the major ones, and if you're like me and have a bit of a sweet tooth then sugary foods makes you happy. For me vegging out in front of Gossip Girl with either a tub of Ben & Jerry's Baked Alaska or freshly baked brownies and a warm mug of hot chocolate really makes life a whole lot sweeter...not looking at the calorie intake makes it easier and not so guilty, althougth I should probably buy the frozen youghurt option instead of full fat icecream...

Keep it sweet! xo
