LFW -DAY 1 Contd...The Golden Ticket

WOOOOOOOOO!!!
I could not stop smiling when darling Helen, one of the film crew, handed us our surprise treat after we left Katch's offices; it was an invitation to Temperley London's show for that night! SO EXCITING!

It was held in One Great George Street, Westminster which is such a grand and beautiful venue:

We also spied a few celebrities; Pixie Lott and Peaches Geldof and her little bump among lots and lots of fashiony people such as Hilary Alexander!

The collection was incredible so so beautiful and very wearable, I want me a cossack hat for sure!!

LFW - DAY 1

DAY ONE: Saturday, February 18th 2012

Friday night we journeyed down to the capital and arrived at the GORGEOUS Kensington Hotel in Queens Gate. It's one of those Mr & Mrs Smith boutique hotels and definitely one that I would recommend  as the staff wore lovvvvely!!

So Saturday, we went to Hari's Salon in Kings Road to meet up with Nadine Merabi and her PR team Katch as part of filming. Luckily I'm only in odd bits of the documentary as its focused on Ratbag so I got the best of both worlds. So Louise chatted with Nadine, the hairdresser and make up artist about how the models should look for the runway as Nadine wasn't sure what exactly she wanted.

L-R: Naomi (model), Ratbag and Nadine (designer)

This is what I wore that day:
(Blouse: ASOS, Skirt: ASOS/Whistles, Belt: Vintage, Shoes: Dune)

I really quite like this outfit although it is very pink in a way. The 'carrie' skirt from whistles is a gorge tame neoney pink colour that makes the outfit really pop and it complimented the Asos blouse well. I'm not really someone who likes a matching belt 'n' shoes combo hence why the belt is a dark bluey/grey and the shoes a soft pink. The shoes I adore most because they're a firstly pale pink leather then secondly their lace up peep toe shoe boots!! LOVE that.

Anyway, later on that day we headed up to Katch's offices for Louise to help Nadine decide on which looks to use on the catwalk. It was really hectic and exciting but also boring because there was a lot of waiting around for me and mum whilst Louise was filming. However, I did witness a model casting and I really felt sorry for those models. Before this I always harboured a secret wish that I was 5"9 with amazing bone structure and was discovered by an agency but after watching and speaking with the models I'm very thankful to be 5"7 and a good deal curvier than them! I never saw a smile pass their faces and most of them appeared like zombies devoid of any facial expression other than moody, although I'm going to put this down to them trying to "get in the zone".
