I absolutely adore 'i carry your heart' by ee cummings, it's my favourite love poem as it so lovingly old school compared to anything nowadays where love is fraught with troubles and woes. It describes a love that is incredible and beautiful almost like a fantasy. The hopeless romantic that I am when I read words about a love that is not bound by time or geography, for that love is kept within the adoring walls of their lover's heart, makes my own heart melt. Cummings writes that his love is with him wherever he goes and whatever he does she does also even when she is not physically with him, like they're the same person. It reminds me of Catherine describing her and Heathcliff's relationship that they are the same person. Although this relationship appears much less destructive and volatile than Catherine and Heathcliffs.  i carry your heart with me

When i'm meeting someone new I always want to start with a cool joke to break the ice you know but I never seem to be able to pull them off. Probably because I'm kinda goofy and not so socially eloquent as I would like to be...but here goes

Hey Sweeties,I absolutely had to blog about the new Mrs Madden's wedding dress...i'm inlove. completely. entirely. head-over-heels inlove with that dress! While I understand frothy frou frou tulle is not to everyone's taste and until now it wasn't my favourite either as 'meringue' dresses sort of remind me of the barbie-esque horridious gown that was Katie Price/Andre/Reid/Jordan whatever's...very very tacky in my opinion but then again each to their own especially on your wedding day. But in the case of Nicole Richie she looked every inch the elegant fashionista that she had evolved into since her stint on the Simple Life. However, there is two more of her gowns yet to surface as she wore 3 different dresses throughout the day; one for the ceremony, one for dinner and one for the after party and all three were Marchesa! Jealous...me?...maybe...sorta...definatley! Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Madden!

I hear those sleigh bells jingling, a ring ting tingling too, come on its lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you..."Getting in the swing of the party season amidst all the christmas music, sweet mince pies and with the XFactor at its end our saturday nights are now freed up to enjoy all the lovely seasonal inspired parties we've been invited to...so you know what that means...lots of incredible sparkly WOW slow-motion-walk-as-you-dazzle-everyone-in-the-room dresses!!!! excited? I am! keep it sweet! x

Hello my Sweeties,Long time no new posts...orders for cuppycakes have been flying in of late as well as all the coursework which has left me precious little time to blog...I'm sorry, forgive me?With the weather experiencing slight schizophrenia a few of us seem to be passing by the style department in favour of bundling up all warm and snug in cosy sweatshirts and tons of layers. But I have the winter style solution to looking chic without feeling the cold.

All you need is love. But a little Cupcake now and then doesn't hurt.

So I just loved the white chocolate 'Love' we did for one of our customers (who was treating her husband to 18 of our delicious cupcakes to celebrate their 10month anniversary, so sweet!) that I just had to blog about it! She chose 3 yummy flavours (GlamPie-vanilla and white chocolate sponge with a vanilla buttercream, Aztec- chocolate and caramel sponge with caramel buttercream topped with puff candy and drizzled with caramel sauce, Deville- chocolatey chocolate sponge with a peppermint buttercream)
